Job Description A taxidermy finish artist is a specialized wildlife sculptor and painter who performs the critical final stage of mounting an animal, meticulously detailing eyes, nose, lips, and ears with airbrushing, wax, and epoxy to restore a lifelike, dynamic expression. This position requires incredible attention to detail and focuses on realistic, anatomical preservation of our client's trophies and big game for hunters and collections.
Responsibilities
Apply fine details to taxidermy mounts including eyes, lips, nose, and ears using airbrushing, wax, and epoxy
Ensure anatomical accuracy and lifelike appearance of finished pieces
Work collaboratively as part of the taxidermy team to meet project deadlines
Touch up and restore older mounts as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring quality standards
