Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy a broad scope of emergency nursing while maintaining a predictable 312 weekly schedule .

Schedule

Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed each week)

Shift hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Candidates will rotate between day and night schedules based on department needs

The same shift (days or nights) will be worked throughout each scheduled workweek

What You Will Do

Assess, prioritize, and care for patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency conditions

Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate emergency interventions

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols

Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team

Assist with trauma, medical emergencies, and stabilization of critically ill patients

Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, laboratory, radiology, and ancillary departments to ensure outstanding patient care

Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

Emergency Department nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certification

Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment
