Job Overview
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing assignment in Lewisville, Texas. Start Date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12 hours, nights, 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.

Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues associated with medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.

Use triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.

Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

Active RN license.

Degree from an accredited nursing program.

At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

BCS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required on some assignments.

Additional requirements will be determined by the client facility.
