Direct Support Professional - Full-Time and Part-Time 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift and Weekends

Overview

Creative Care Resources specializes in enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing creative and quality care across all aspects of their lives. Overnight shifts run from 10 pm to 8 am; staff are expected to follow the same training and procedures as daytime staff, with the option to sleep when residents are also sleeping and safe.

Maintain reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Demonstrate desire, skills, and abilities to work with persons with special needs (training provided).

Pass a criminal background check.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

Positive demeanor and outlook.

Full‑time: minimum 30 hours per week; part‑time: 7–30 hours per week.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, take stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

Read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Ability to count and manage money.

Ability to routinely operate basic equipment such as a calculator, telephone, household appliances, and fire and alarm systems.

High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred.

One year of experience working with persons with special needs is preferred.

Hourly rate: $18.75.

Employees are also eligible for a quarterly incentive program after successfully completing their training period.
