Security Officer

The Security Officer's main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. Responsibilities include maintaining order and keeping the peace on the property, performing area-based security patrols, delivering positive, courteous, and professional guest service, exercising good judgment in solving problems, providing medical assistance, upholding and enforcing gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, reading and analyzing security reports, conducting investigations, working flexible schedules, displaying professional conduct, standing or walking for long periods, performing other reasonable job duties, and verifying casino guests are of legal age before entering gaming areas. This position requires lifting and carrying at least 25 pounds at a time.

Qualifications include one year or more of law enforcement or security experience, American Red Cross or equivalent adult First Aid/CPR certification, obtaining any gaming license required, and being a team player with a guest first attitude.
