Cook - Full Time and Part Time - Urgently Hiring

Overview Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a full time COOK position at Aldersgate Village, 7220 Southwest Asbury Drive, Topeka, KS 66614.
Location: Aldersgate Village, Topeka, KS. Schedule: Full time, Tuesday through Sunday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Further details upon interview. Pay Range: $12.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour. Prior food service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive and tasty; tastes all prepared items.
Maintains proper records from the area worked during service and follows established ticket procedures.
Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness; stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
Performs duties safely in a clean, safe work environment and follows HACCP standards for food safety.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures.
Qualifications Prior food service experience preferred.
Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety procedures.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
