Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement; patient ratio 1:5-6; 33-bed unit with average daily census of 28 patients; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; call requirements include every other weekend, holidays as needed, and relief charge duties
Highlights:
Medical Surgical/Remote Telemetry unit treating adult to geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative care, wound vacs, and bariatrics
Epic charting system required; additional technologies include Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and social services
Modern equipment including Diligent lift equipment, space labs in every room, and advanced monitoring technology
Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; orientation provided based on contract length
First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 5-6 patient ratios preferred
Epic charting system experience required
BLS certification required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Previous charge experience preferred
Proficiency in essential skills including blood product administration, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, wound care/wound vac management, chest tube care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, and use of rapid response/code teams
Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
