Our client, an industrial machine manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager that will oversee and manage all manufacturing operations including materials management, inventory control, machining, fabrication and assembly. Medical, Dental, and vision insurance, 401(k).Operations Manager Responsibilities:Directly oversee purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing shipping, receiving and inventory controlDevelop and maintain schedules to ensure on time shipmentsEnsure that all products are manufactured to specification and are of the highest qualityDevelop and maintain forecasts schedules and inventory levelsDevelop and maintain budgets for all areas of responsibilityMaintain manufacturing operations including machinery, fabrications and assemblyDevelop and maintain capacities plans and ensure proper personnel levelsMaintain property building and equipmentPlan and layout work, assign instruct and direct all manufacturing associatesMaintain all work areas and eliminate safety hazardsDevelop and maintain all environmental, fire and safety procedures including corporate directives, Federal, State and local complianceMaintain discipline, morale and create a harmonious work environmentAny other additional duties assigned by supervisorOperations Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain, manufacturing or engineering7+ years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
