CRNA Job Details
Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,180–$6,510

Start Date: January 25, 2027

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with potential extension

Shift: Day shifts, typically 7:00 a.m. Schedule: Options may include four 10-hour shifts or three 12–13-hour shifts per week; rotating Saturday coverage may be required

Clinical Areas: Main operating rooms, outpatient surgery, and endoscopy

Healthcare Technology: Epic electronic medical record

CRNA Job Requirements and Qualifications
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with at least 2 years of clinical experience

At least 1 year of experience in an academic medical center or Level I or II trauma environment

Active Virginia CRNA license required

COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required; Strong command of the full CRNA scope of practice

Epic experience preferred

DEA registration is not required

Locum Tenens CRNA Responsibilities
Deliver safe, independent general anesthesia care across a diverse procedural service

Provide pre-anesthesia assessments, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-anesthesia care

Support cases involving adolescent and adult patient populations, including higher-acuity patients

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team

Practice across operating rooms, outpatient surgery areas, and endoscopy rooms as needed

Document anesthesia care accurately in Epic

Cases excluded from this role include open-heart and thoracic procedures, pediatric and obstetric anesthesia, and peripheral nerve block performance
