No holidays/no weekends.**What You'll Do**Registration of patients presenting to Northwest Medical Center. Conducts patient interviews to obtain registration information, complete required forms and obtains signatures. Initiates financial counseling process. Represents Northwest Medical Center as the focal point for all initial communications .**Responsibilities**Accurately obtains all required information to perform registration of patients for all services.ED, Outpatient, Surgery, and Financial CounselingAssists Supervisor with daily reports relating to accuracy of information obtained in the registration process. Coordinates Training and orientation documentation with direction of supervisor.Assists in candidate selection and peer interviewsAppropriately obtains authorizations and verifications for services and enters into systemObtains accurate insurance information for billing purposes.Completes all required data for financial services.Effectively communicates with customers. Assists customers with inquiries.Assertively demonstrates ability to meet production standard of collection goals for NWMC.Consistently refers uninsured and underinsured patients to financial assistance.Proficiently utilizes computer system to access patient information, email, and other required systems.**Requirements*** High school diploma or GED required.* 1+ year of scheduling, administrative support, or clerical experience (healthcare or service operations preferred).* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly.* Strong customer service skills and professional communication (phone, email, and in-person).**Education and Experience** Minimum of 6 months customer service required. Knowledge of computers, and other standard office equipment required.
