Operating room nurses responsible for planning, executing, directing and evaluating, direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical patient. The nursing activities may include preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative evaluation. Operating room nurses may be employed in several roles including scrub, circulating or function in both roles.

Cancellation policy: Grady does not have any documented call off policy for travelers but there are some hours owed occasionally when there is inclement weather. Please email HWL Billing if you have any questions in the event of cancelled shifts due to weather conditions.

Guaranteed hours are added to the facility time file prior to being sent to HWL. If your provider cancels less than 14 days prior to starting, a fee of 12 hours x the bill rate will be assessed. If your provider terminates without 30 days' notice, a fee of 36 hours x the bill rate will be assessed.
