Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level II Trauma center requiring general OR and DaVinci robotics experience.
Details

• Level II Trauma center operating room setting
• General OR cases including trauma, uro, podiatry, ortho, plastics, neuro, gyn, endo, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardio, and bariatric
• DaVinci robotics experience required
• Adult and geriatric patient population with 1:1 ratios
• Epic EMR required
• 3x12 mid shift schedule from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
• Rotational weekend and holiday coverage required, inclusive of on-call
• On-call frequency of 5-6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call
• Weekday/weeknight on-call runs from end of shift until 6:30 AM the next day
• Weekend on-call shifts are 24-hour call
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
• Floating required within specialty and to sister Laurel campus as needed

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Minimum 3 years OR experience required, though 2 years may be considered with strong clinical background
Strong general OR and DaVinci robotics experience required
Must be skilled in both scrubbing and circulating
Additional Information

Provide direct surgical support across a wide range of specialties in a high-acuity trauma environment
Work as part of a rotational on-call team with equally divided coverage based on departmental needs
First-time travelers accepted if they demonstrate strong general OR and robotics experience
Hours per week: 36
Hours per shift: 12
