Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
Details

• Hospital-based ICU position within the Nursing Float Pool
• 13-week travel assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float policy requires flexibility to work within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• AHA-issued BLS/ACLS certifications required prior to start date (non-AHA certifications accepted for initial consideration)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

Work as part of a float pool team providing ICU-level nursing care across MaineHealth facilities as needed
Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome to apply, though local pay rates apply and local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited while on the unit
