Head of Project Management

This critical leadership position involves managing large-scale efforts at the BPA/IDIQ level, ensuring the successful execution of task orders, and maintaining strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will have prior extensive experience working in an Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) and managing blanket purchasing agreements (BPA) or IDIQs of similar scope and complexity, with a proven ability to elevate team performance.

Strategic Planning and Execution
Track performance metrics to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, contracting officers, and stakeholders.
Identify and address potential risks, offering mitigation strategies.
Task Order Management
Compliance and Risk Management
Proactively manage risks related to performance, budget, or compliance.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including project managers and technical staff.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Financial Oversight
Develop and manage BPA budgets, including individual task orders.
Ensure financial performance aligns with contractual requirements.
Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring
Implement quality control measures to meet client expectations.
Conduct performance reviews and analyze metrics for continuous improvement.
Address performance issues effectively.
Prepare detailed reports, including status updates, performance metrics, and financial summaries.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management (IM), Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of technical experience, including 6 years in senior IT security roles; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management (IM), Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 12 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in senior roles.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) — Required; Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Foundation
Extensive experience managing BPAs or IDIQ contracts of similar scale.
Extensive experience with Security Operations Centers (SOC) environments (required).
Expertise in federal acquisition processes, FAR/DFAR compliance, and project management methodologies.
Familiarity with government contracting environments and large-scale program management.
Experience with proposal development, pricing models, and contract negotiations.
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard).
good command of the English language.
Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills.
