Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) uses standardized, medical staff approved protocols to provide telephone triage, advice, and health education for callers to the practice. Maintains current and approved standard protocols to provide timely access to care and patient safety. This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing triage for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This position will provide support for the Mental Health Services team, as well as various Specialty providers, as assigned. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education, and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $41.06$57.96. Patient Care + Assessment
Perform patient intake, including vital signs, health history, and medication reconciliation
Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per protocol
Care Coordination
Collaborate with providers to develop and implement patient care plans
Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
Manages medication refill requests to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate continuation of patient care.
Provide education on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
Reinforce discharge instructions and follow-up care needs

Respond to patient phone calls and portal messages
Follow established protocols to support safe decision-making (does not replace provider-directed care)
Accurately document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, state regulations, and nursing standards
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Work closely with providers, medical assistants, LPNs, and administrative staff
Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvement efforts
Current RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing, in good standing
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification for Health Care Providers (if not current will need to obtain within the first 6 months)
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written English
One-year prior clinic, ambulatory care, or relevant nursing experience

No weekend or holiday requirements.
