Aprendamos Family of Services provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary services to children and families throughout New Mexico. Our collaborative teams include BCBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Family Therapists, all working together to deliver inclusive, high-quality care.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic in Las Cruces, NM. In this outpatient role, you will support children ages 3 to 18 who experience sensory processing challenges and difficulties with daily living activities.

You will deliver evidence-based, individualized therapy designed to promote independence and functional skill development, while partnering closely with families and a multidisciplinary team. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive clinic environment.

Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each child’s diagnosis, needs, and goals

Provide direct therapy services and ongoing education to children and families

Complete accurate and timely documentation in WebPT for billing and recordkeeping

Meet all Esperanza Clinic documentation and billing requirements

Update treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and child progress

Support children with sensory processing disorders to improve engagement and functional performance

Maintain reliable attendance for scheduled clinic appointments

Qualifications Occupational Therapist

Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist license

Pediatric outpatient or clinic experience preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay is $63-$67 per hour for a OT

Qualifications Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist license

Pediatric outpatient or clinic experience preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay is $46-$53 per hour for a COTA
