Education Required:

• Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
• Current, active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification through the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry

Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.)
• Monitor and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Respond to call lights, phone inquiries, and in-person requests in a timely and professional manner
• Support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members

Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
# Current, active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification through the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry

Previous experience in long-term care, transitional care, assisted living, or memory care settings

Awareness of and sensitivity to residents' individual needs and abilities

• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
