Caterpillar is seeking a Facilities Technician in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will support the implementation and sustainability of shop and grounds improvements for the Sanford Product Design and Endurance area.

You will be a key player in large facilities projects and the leader on smaller scale facilities projects.

You will build relationships with and carry out work with external contractors and internal teams to improve facilities.

You will serve as first line of support for building service problems and work requests.

You will assist facility engineers and support maintenance and other related departments.

ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Recent forklift experience.

SSL and CTL operation experience.

Use of AutoCAD 2D modeling for floor plans.

Experience managing inventory.

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and/or Excel.

Demonstrated ability to work independently to move projects forward.
