The Program Manager will have overall responsibility for successful execution of the Task Order, providing leadership across program evaluation, public health analysis, organizational performance, strategic planning, process improvement, project management, and training activities.The Program Manager will serve as the primary contractor point of contact for CDC leadership and the Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), ensuring that work is delivered on schedule, meets quality standards, and remains aligned with CDC priorities and mission objectives.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall program and task order leadership for a multidisciplinary CDC support teamServe as the primary contractor interface with the CDC COR, program leadership, Government stakeholders, and other partnersDevelop, maintain, and execute integrated work plans, schedules, milestones, staffing plans, and performance objectivesDirect and coordinate activities across public health program support, evaluation, organizational analysis, strategic planning, project management, process improvement, and training workstreamsEnsure contractor personnel possess the appropriate qualifications, training, and expertise before assignment to the effortManage staffing, resource allocation, workload distribution, and surge requirements across multiple concurrent projectsEstablish and maintain quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet Government requirements and expectationsMonitor program performance, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and develop mitigation strategies as requiredLead regular program status meetings and facilitate communication among CDC stakeholders and contractor personnelPrepare and oversee monthly status reports, project updates, briefings, presentations, and other required deliverablesCoordinate development of task-level work plans, project timelines, deliverables, and performance measuresIdentify opportunities to improve program effectiveness, efficiency, processes, and customer outcomesProvide senior-level advice and recommendations to CDC leadership based on program performance, organizational analysis, and stakeholder feedbackFacilitate senior leadership meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and project reviewsEnsure timely identification and resolution of issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, staffing, or technical performanceCoordinate contractor compliance with applicable HHS/CDC security, privacy, information management, and training requirementsFoster a collaborative environment across diverse technical and functional disciplinesSupport emerging CDC priorities and high-visibility initiatives as requiredEnsure all work products are accurate, professional, scientifically sound, and responsive to CDC requirementsQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in public health, health administration, business administration, management, social sciences, or a related field10 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience managing complex programs, projects, or professional services engagementsDemonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams supporting Federal Government or public health programsExperience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, deliverables, and stakeholder requirementsExperience developing and managing integrated work plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and performance measuresDemonstrated experience working directly with senior Government or public-sector stakeholdersStrong understanding of program management principles, organizational performance, process improvement, and strategic planningExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings and reportsDemonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a complex environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related fieldExperience supporting CDC, HHS, NIH, FDA, CMS, HRSA, or other Federal public health organizationsExperience managing CDC or HHS contracts, task orders, cooperative agreements, or other Federal programsPMP, PgMP, or comparable program/project management certificationExperience with public health program evaluation and performance measurementExperience with organizational assessment, change management, or process improvementExperience facilitating senior executive meetings and cross-functional working groupsFamiliarity with Federal public health policies, programs, and operating environmentsExperience managing large professional services teams
