Short Term (Relief) Hospital Dietitian

Assess, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the standards of nutrition therapy. Provides care for inpatient and/ or outpatient caseload. Occasional weekend and/ or holiday coverage if staffing needs warrant. Opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/ interns, and execution of departmental education efforts which will contribute to advancement in the Clinical Ladder.

Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and coordination of care.

Accurately performs documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately documents billing charges.

Bachelor's degree in nutrition

Current Registration with CDR or RD eligible with successful registration within 6 months of hire date.

Temporary Florida licensure required if not currently licensed in the State of Florida

Clinical experience in an acute care hospital during Dietitian externship will be accepted.
