Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The role requires expertise in scrub and circulate duties in a level 1 trauma center.
Responsibilities:
Provide care in the CVOR, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
Assist in scrub and circulating duties for cardiac surgeries.
Float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed.
Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties, including some holidays.
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center.
- Strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries.
- Active KS RN License and BLS certification.
- Must be nicotine free and comply with facility policies.
