The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice Provost for Accreditation and Accreditation Liaison Officer to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for its Office of Accreditation, Licensure, and State Authorizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all institutional and programmatic accreditation activities, ensuring compliance with state authorization and licensure across multiple states, and serving as the official liaison to accrediting and approval agencies. This role involves managing a team, overseeing the preparation and submission of various accreditation and compliance reports, and staying abreast of regulatory changes to maintain institutional compliance. The AVP/ALO will also be involved in long-range planning, process development, and will serve as a key advisor to the Executive Cabinet on accreditation, licensure, and regulatory matters.
Applicants must have a doctoral or professional terminal degree, a minimum of 5 years' academic administrative experience in regulatory and compliance areas, and direct experience with both institutional and programmatic accreditation in higher education. The role requires in-depth knowledge of state authorization and licensure requirements, as well as experience in presentation, writing, research, and organizational skills. The AVP/ALO will also be involved in faculty and staff training on accreditation and related topics and should have a background in higher education teaching.
