Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff within the unit
Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care in a clinical setting
Ability to supervise and delegate care to appropriate clinical staff
