Full Time LMFT - Remote position

Lyra Behavioral Center is actively seeking compassionate and professional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. This position allows for complete remote work, providing you with the convenience to operate from wherever you feel most productive. You will be part of an innovative outpatient office that emphasizes client-centric care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our remote setting utilizes advanced telehealth platforms to ensure that our clients are comfortable and secure during their sessions, while also allowing for effective communication and consultation among team members.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional health, utilizing structured methodologies to inform treatment decisions.

Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs, incorporating both assessment results and personal goals.

Provide therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring a supportive space for individuals of all ages and couples addressing an array of mental health concerns.

Engage in couples therapy to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and facilitate healthier relationships.

Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Respond to acute crisis situations by providing immediate therapeutic support, ensuring clients receive appropriate guidance during emergencies.

Foster strong communication with clients and their families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Engage in continual professional development, staying updated on best practices and new methodologies in marriage and family therapy.

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse patient population, including adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges. A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience in conducting therapy sessions focused on individuals and/or couples.

Proficiency in timely completion of clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Previous experience in a remote therapy setting is desirable.

Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities applicable to family and couple counseling.

Experience working with children in therapeutic contexts can be beneficial for this position.
