About the Facility Gallup Indian Medical Center The Gallup Indian Medical Center is a 99-bed hospital in Gallup, New Mexico, on the border of the Navajo Reservation. Clinical specialties at the GIMC include internal medicine, cardiology, anesthesia, OB/GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, radiology, pathology, pediatrics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and urology. The workload at Gallup is one of the largest in the Indian Health Service, with 250,000 outpatient encounters and 5800 inpatient admissions annually. Manage pharmaceutical supplies following established protocols.

The Pharmacist assists with order organization and performs patient pill counts at the pharmacy window when necessary.

Must have a degree from a school of pharmacy approved by a state-accrediting agency.

Must have inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical experience. A minimum of 6 months of prior Indian Health Service pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
