Shift: 3x12 nights2 years experience requiredTravel experience requiredCertifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE*Charting: EpicPatient ratios: 1:3Float required to well baby if needed9 bed unit with the possibility to expand to 16 bed, we do no offer surgical procedures for this patient population (other than circumcisions and frenectomy). We do provide retinopathy of prematurity exams as needed. We do offer donor breast milk for specified patient populations. We have 2 full time IBCLCs on staff and lactation peer counselors.

Skills: Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonates 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU III, Starting and maintaining IVs, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)

We do provide retinopathy of prematurity exams as needed. We do offer donor breast milk for specified patient populations. We have 2 full time IBCLCs on staff and lactation peer counselors. Special Equipment : Conventional Vent, HFOV, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, CPAP (Bubble), RAM Cannula, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Vaoptherm. IV pumps are Plumb pumps and Smith Medfusion pumps. Our monitors are Phillips. We have Draeger Warms and Baby Leo. We have 1 Panda warmer and 1 Giraffe Omnibed. We also have open cribs. We use Draeger Jaundice meter and phototherapy lights. We do have POC glucometer testing and the ability to run blood gases on the unit. We have Medela breastmilk warmers, kits, and pumps.

State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal. License Hit not accepted. All RTO must be listed at time of submittal. Previous Staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. Onboarding: Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing Modules: Modules are non-billable, all hours are factored in NBO RN average 4-6 hours Allied 2-3 hours Modules are completed onsite during orientation
