Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
Float as needed to other units within the same facility to care for the same patient population
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
Potential to care for patients on ventilators depending on unit needs
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty; travel experience may be considered for the recent experience requirement
Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and medication safety evaluations
