Schedule Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Call required during the assignment, including holidays. Job Description The Operating Room Circulator Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties within a Level III Trauma facility. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing patient care throughout the intraoperative phase, ensuring patient safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and facilitating efficient surgical workflow. Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage patient care during surgical procedures
Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile techniques
Facilitate surgical workflow and documentation
Prepare surgical cases and manage equipment and supplies
Administer medication and handle specimens as necessary
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
- BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred
- Experience with General, Ortho, OBGYN, Robotics, Urology, Hand, and Podiatry surgeries
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Fingerprint clearance as required for all NM travelers
