Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Schedule: Days M-F (5 8s), rotate call
Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:

Current RN license in Washington State or MultiState
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
ACLS and PALS certification required
Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:

Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
Render nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, and regulatory standards.
Supervise assigned team members in patient care.
Function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse in the operating room.
Maintain a safe and therapeutically effective nursing care environment.
Participate in 24-hour call coverage and assess for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
