Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance
Assist in evaluating the need for machine and/or assembly area upgrades
Participate in capital equipment justification as needed
Assist in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and/or assembly jobs
Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis and corrective action
React to changing priorities in a timely manner
Report man-hour estimates
Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or comparable Engineering program
Mechanical aptitude and desire for hands on work
Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD
Experience with 3D printers
Mechanical Engineer Intern
Join our dynamic team at Graco as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where you will work alongside our Mechanical Engineers to design, support, analyze and develop solutions to challenging problems with fluid handling equipment. You will build skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, and problem solving
Mechanical design ideation & collaboration

• Hands-on support of project team prototyping & testing

Electrical Engineer Intern
Join Graco as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Build a versatile skillset by designing both hardware and software. You will work alongside our electrical engineers to write embedded firmware and control algorithms, design circuit boards, work with batteries and battery management, design user interfaces, iOS and Android apps. This intern position also involves providing ideas, input, and analysis as a project team member.

Applying your engineering skills to solve problems
Determine root cause of failures in the field
Consult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issues

Interact daily on-site with team, including lab work, project meetings, and design discussions

Strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs

Automation Engineering Intern
Assembly and installation of fixtures and tooling
Help with equipment design, and recommendation of sensors and safe guarding

Packaging Engineering Intern
Develop cost effective packaging solutions by applying coursework to real-world applications as a Packaging Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as a project team member.
Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance
Troubleshoot shipping damage claims to determine how to resolve issues.
Consolidate and document WIP packaging used within manufacturing.
Assist in the designing of and implementation of packaging solutions:
Research and suggest ideas for ways to improve packaging for existing products while working with cross functional engineering teams.
Create packaging specifications using AutoCAD.
Load and update specifications within manufacturing database.
Load and maintain packaging components within manufacturing BOM's.

Distribution Engineering Intern
To support the Warehouse Operation, Logistics, and Trade Compliance by applying coursework to real-world applications as a Distribution Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as a project team member.

Provide general support for picking, packing and shipping processes , hands-on troubleshooting issues, and providing technical assistance
Assist in capital equipment justification as needed
Assist in evaluation, selection and implementation for automation upgrades
Participate in the planning and implementation of preventive and corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery and cost

Supplier Quality Engineering Intern
To support the Strategic Business Unit and the Manufacturing Cell and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as an active team member.
Work with suppliers to improve quality performance, implement process controls and quality plans.
Drive strong root cause and corrective action with assistance from the Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Engineers.
Serves as a stop gate for Supplier Corrective Action Requests; gather any additional information needed for Supplier Quality Engineers to initiated and drive with a supplier.
Pull and monitor aging MRB (Material Review Board) reports
Provide training and assistance to suppliers and purchasing personnel on Graco supplier quality requirements and processes.
Provide general quality troubleshooting for day-to-day issues.
Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or operations/supply chain management
Mechanical aptitude and desire for hands on work
Knowledge of quality tools: i.e. Problem solving, Root-Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, Mistake Proofing and Process Control.
Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation.
Quality Engineer Intern
To support the Quality team under the Operation Excellence department, and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Quality Engineer Intern. Position involves conducting process investigations, supporting continuous improvement projects, and contributing to the development of quality engineering tools.
Participate in process investigations by comparing documented Quality Management System (QMS) processes with current practices across multiple facilities
Support improvement efforts using structured problem-solving tools.
Assist in process mapping, documentation, and standardization of key quality processes.
Contribute to the development and testing of new quality engineering tools to enhance efficiency and consistency
Gather and analyze data to support root cause investigations and corrective actions
Adapt to shifting priorities and provide timely support to the Quality team
Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or comparable Engineering program.
Interest in process improvement and quality systems
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
Exposure to structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, PDAC, etc.)
Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused role

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience.
