Pay Scale: RN: Starting at $35/hr. LPN: Starting at $27/hr. Provides nursing services to the medical unit.
Provides medication evaluation, medication checks, calls in prescriptions, obtains samples, sometimes may provide individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
Participates in peer review process for therapists
Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Education and/or Experience: RN: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and one year of experience in psychiatric nursing; OR LPN: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prefer one year of experience in nursing; AND One year of experience working with Children and Adolescence.
