Act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to assigned product. Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis plans. Manufacturing work instructions. Quality Inspection instructions. Internally collected variable and attribute data. Responsible for managing customer issues. Internal product sorts / quality alerts. Interim corrective actions. Permanent corrective actions. Answering to the customer on any concerns/issues they have, including written and verbal. Train employees to quality issues as needed. Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality through layered process auditing and scrap reduction. Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred and three years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing facility. Must possess strong math skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to apply common sense understanding to resolve conflicts and to hand issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
