Attain profit goals through the extension of credit to assigned accounts according to established procedures.Develop and expand market base of customers, and service existing customers by marketing expanded bank services, providing opportunities for relationship building and involving oneself in civic and community organizations.

Attends to the needs of present and potential customers seeking loans.

Interviews applicants to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk within the bank’s policy.

Maintains relationships on current assigned customers and prospective customers

Establishes and updates electronic customer credit files to include balance sheets, tax returns, cash flows, etc.

Develops and maintains an effective extensive professional network with potential customers. Maintains a large loan portfolio that satisfies quality standards and qualifications established by senior bank management.

Develop and maintain a significant presence throughout the agriculture and/or business community.

Participates in civic, community, state and professional groups to further personal and corporate goals.

Bachelor degree required with emphasis in business, finance, accounting preferred.

Ability to market bank services and products.

Fundamental knowledge of mathematics including statistical and financial mathematics skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).

Use and understand various computer software related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position.
