Safety Coordinator (Temporary) | Plano, TX | $18.75/hr
Core Personnel Staffing is hiring two Safety Coordinators for a high-volume production and fulfillment facility in Plano, TX. This is a temporary assignment through the holiday peak season. If you have a keen eye for safety and a helpful, team-first attitude, we want to talk to you!
Shifts: 2nd shift and 4th shift openings
Training week (Nov 2-6): 8-hour days
After training: 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Walk the production floor regularly to keep everyone safe.
Keep emergency exits clear and spot slip, trip, and fall hazards.
Watch for forklift and pedestrian safety concerns.
Restock safety glasses and hearing protection stations.
Document safety issues and communicate them with management.
A coach-first approach to safety: you help people get it right rather than policing them.
Ability to document issues clearly and accurately.
Ability to stay on your feet and walk the floor throughout a 12-hour shift.
Willingness to follow the site's dress code, including clothing, footwear, hair, and piercing standards.
Safety, warehouse, or production experience is a plus.
