Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts, every other weekend, and two holiday shifts required.
Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• Active state nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• PALS or ENPC certification (equivalency accepted)
• TNCC certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing
• Epic experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to patients with acute medical conditions and injuries.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and prioritization of care needs.
• Collaborate with medical personnel to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records systems.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be separated from previous employment with a healthcare facility for six months to be considered.
• Orientation and training may be required before the start of the assignment.
