Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - ER

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed for a travel assignment in Burlington, VT. Specialty: Ultrasound. Weekly pay: $2,499 to $2,584 per week. Shift: four 10-hour night shifts (Sun–Wed, 8 p.m.–Setting: a large teaching hospital with two on-campus sites and a total of 579 beds. This assignment is for a travel temporary position in an acute care environment.

- Contract duration: Shift: 4x10-hour night shifts (Sun-Wed, 8:00 p.m.–Work setting: large teaching hospital with two campus sites

Perform ultrasound examinations across abdomen, gynecology, vascular, and breast imaging per protocol

• Operate, optimize, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements
• Assist with breast care procedures, including breast biopsies, in collaboration with radiology and surgical teams
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, ensure safety and patient comfort, and manage infection control standards
• Document findings and measurements; enter results into the Epic EMR per department guidelines
• Coordinate with radiologists and other clinicians to support diagnostic workflow and patient care

ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
• BLS certification and Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification or equivalency
• Reliable transportation to report to shift; Assignment coordination and travel support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC
• Onboarding and credentialing assistance aligned to the Epic EMR environment
• Ongoing recruiter and operations support throughout the assignment
