Server/CashierNaskila Casino - Livingston, TX 77351Server CashierHourly position: $15.00/hrMust be flexible to work swing/overnight shifts including weekends and holidaysPurpose:Under the general direction of the Timbers Front of House Manager and Supervisor, the Server Cashier maintains an efficient and courteous restaurant operation by greeting arriving guests in a friendly manner, he/she seats guests promptly, takes orders, delivers food and beverages to create an exceptional, personalized dining experience at Naskila Casino. Server Cashiers also collects payments, applies all necessary Casino Track discounts, and gives accurate change according to established policies.Supervisory Scope:This position directly supervises:PositionN/AEssential Job Duties/Responsibilities:Maintain knowledge of restaurant seating, volumes, and seat patrons according to available tables. Assists in resetting tables and dining room cleanliness.Maintain knowledge of all menu items, descriptions, preparation methods, and portions.Responsible for Point of Sales Register (POS) and assigned bank.Suggests and sells menu items and specials to guests, while simultaneously ensuring food quality, service, and cleanliness standards throughout shifts.Responsible for using POS system to enter orders, create guest checks, apply all necessary Casino Track discounts, tenders non-cash payments including credit/debit card, tribal employee/promotional menu discounts, comps, and coupons.Maintains guest service as the first priority of the department and actions of the staff with the goal of creating a personalized guest service experience leading all guests to return again to Naskila Casino.Resolves guest issues.Cap able of working in a safe and clean manner and reports all unsafe conditions immediately to Supervisor or takes personal responsibility if supervisor is not immediately available.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements:Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED or a combination of education and experience.Experience in Restaurant Operations.Must be experienced in handling cash and using a POS.Skills and Abilities:Demonstrate the ability to establish rapport and effectively relate to Guests and Team Members.Preferred:Education and Experience:Minimum 2 years food server experience in restaurants with high volume.Minimum 2 years host/hostess/cashier experience in restaurants with high volumeRequired Training:New Team Member OrientationTeam Member Policy HandbookDepartment Policy HandbookGuest Service StandardsAny position related training deemed necessary by Department ManagerConditions of Employment:Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.Practice good personal hygiene.Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.Guest Service Expectations:Delight Our GuestsPay Attention to DetailsHelp Other Team Members Succeed
