Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering

Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) Join a collaborative MEP consulting team delivering innovative K-12, municipal, commercial, government, and mission-critical projects. This is an opportunity to lead HVAC design, mentor engineers, and manage projects from concept through construction while working on complex, high-impact facilities.

What You'll Do Lead HVAC and mechanical system design, including calculations, equipment selection, and construction documents.

Manage projects from planning through construction administration, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule goals are met.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Oversee bidding support, RFIs, submittals, commissioning activities, and field coordination.

Mentor junior engineers, perform quality reviews, and provide technical leadership across projects.

What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

8+ years of HVAC design experience in an MEP consulting environment.

PE license (or ability to obtain Virginia licensure immediately).

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Experience with K-12, commercial, municipal, government, healthcare, or data center projects is highly preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Lead impactful building projects from design through commissioning.
