You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs.

Pay: $21.63 hourly

Location: This position will be a traveling role and will cover homes in Houston, Pasadena and La Porte. Mileage reimbursement is included!

As the Program Director you will have oversight and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD). The program director is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the program including but not limited to developing individual goals and plans, implementing program. Personnel management and program coordination including but not limited to assuring they complete orientation, and ongoing training.

Assure coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, through guiding and directing the designee of the site.

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study required.

A program director must have the qualifications of a intellectual disability professional, based on a bachelor’s degree in a human services field plus a minimum of one-year, full time, direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.

Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.

You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
