To see that all common spaces and athletic facilities on our school sites are cleaned to the District standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid Arizona driver's license

Satisfactory criminal background check

Position requires physical demands: lifting up to 50 lbs, exerting 50-60 lbs of force frequently, pushing, pulling or moving objects

Ability to walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop or kneel

Working may involve a late night shift until about 11 pm during the school year

Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment and floor cleaning equipment

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to establish and maintain working relations with janitorial site lead and fellow workers

Must pass a background clearance

Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

Term of Employment: 261 days; 12 months

Compensation: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

Benefits: As per QCUSD District policy

Reports To: Director of Building Operations

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday‑Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Classification: Hourly, Non‑exempt

Performance Responsibilities

Dust mop, sweep, and wet mop hard surface floors

Vacuum clean rugs and carpets

Scrub and clean bathroom fixtures and keep supplies stocked

Clean walls, doors, windows, and woodwork

Clean elevators and stairwells

Empty trash receptacles

Notify janitorial site lead of equipment and facilities needing repairs or replacement

Dust, clean, and polish furniture and countertops

Be flexible

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned to advance district priorities
