Electrical Engineering & Technical Support

Serve as the primary engineering resource for plant electrical systems and equipment.

Provide technical support to production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.

Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues impacting safety, quality, reliability, and production.

Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

Identify and execute opportunities to improve equipment performance, uptime, and energy efficiency.

Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.

Apply engineering best practices to improve asset reliability and operational effectiveness.

Evaluate existing systems and recommend upgrades, modifications, or modernization projects.

Capital Projects & Process Improvements

Develop and manage electrical and infrastructure improvement projects from concept through startup.

Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and expected business outcomes.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, contractor activities, and commissioning efforts.

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Monitor project costs, timelines, and deliverables to achieve budget and schedule targets.

Support major maintenance shutdowns and outage planning activities.

Capital Planning & Strategic Support

Assist in developing annual capital and major maintenance plans.

Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and process enhancements.

Develop project justifications, cost estimates, and return-on-investment analyses.

Evaluate vendor proposals and equipment recommendations.

Work closely with purchasing, contractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.

Ensure all contractor work complies with site safety and operational requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• 0-12+ years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, power distribution systems, motors, drives, controls, and industrial electrical systems.

Experience working directly with maintenance and production teams in a plant environment.

Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.

Experience leading capital projects and equipment installation efforts.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Strong communication and project management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to support occasional off-shift work during project installations, outages, or critical equipment issues.
