Head of Programme Management

You will serve as an APM PROGRAM MAMANGER in the DPAE E&MW, Mission Modules Program Office (PMS 420) of DPAE EXPEDITIONARY AND MINE WARFARE.

You will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager (PM) with the development and execution of Mission Package equipment, MCM USVs and associated payload delivery systems that integrate multiple payloads into the craft.
You will be responsible for assisting the PM with accomplishing program objectives for development, production, etc to meet the operational needs within cost, schedule, and performance constraints approved by the Milestone Decision Authority.
You will ensure the planning, direction, and success of the MCM Mission Package program (ACAT I), including development of comprehensive program plans (i.e. definitive task statements, basis of estimates, resource requirements, etc).
You will provide technical and fiscal oversight of multiple contractors and government laboratories
You will manage competitive contract development, implementation, and management
You will develop, maintain, and manage multi-year budget profiles and ensure timely financial execution.
You will develop and analyze engineering and program management documents.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency ) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning the lifecycle execution of complex acquisition and modernization programs through advanced planning and technical integration to drive operational efficiency and secure strategic alignment within a Naval organization.
