We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with cardiovascular operating room experience to join a specialized surgical team in Akron, OH. This CVOR nursing job is ideal for a nurse who thrives in high-acuity procedural care, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to quality cardiac surgery services.
Position: CVOR Registered Nurse
Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
Shift: 8-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
Orientation: 16 hours
Current Ohio RN license required at the time of submission
At least 2 years of pediatric cardiovascular nursing experience preferred
Operating room nursing experience required
Proficiency with equipment and supplies used in cardiac invasive procedures
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS Office or similar software
Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary team members
Provide high-quality patient care to patients and families throughout the nursing process
Support cardiovascular surgery and cardiothoracic procedures in the CVOR
Apply advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology in relation to surgical and invasive cardiac procedures
Assist in additional clinical areas as needed to support patient care and service needs
Contribute to program development, teaching, research support, and administrative functions when assigned
