Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) is a global leader specialized in the travel management business with revenues in excess of $20B. CWT serves companies of all sizes in more than 150 countries and territories. CWT is one of the largest travel management companies in North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America. RoomIt is the recently launched hotel distribution division of CWT. This is your opportunity to join an exciting new technology startup that also has the backing of a major business travel company. We are looking for the first generation of people to help us pioneer a new path for companies and their employees to purchase hotels for business travel.

Define, develop and deliver the Agent Booking Tool platform to help drive profit and cost savings across CWT

Ensure product success by bridging the gap between sales, engineering, customer service, delivery, training and operations

Develop a strong understanding of the customer through market visits, usability tests, surveys, online feedback mechanisms and focus groups. Know their product and customers better than anyone else in the company.

Build financial models and forecasts to guide future resource investment

Coordinate with development, operations and training to ensure efficient and successful delivery of new features

Create product specs, user stories, and prototypes in collaboration with UX, engineering or independently when necessary

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; Travel Management or Leisure Travel and travel tools and software (B2B, B2B2C) preferred, not required

5+ years in product management, product development or similar discipline (technical background a plus but not necessary)

5+ years managing technical projects. Resource management (specifically demand and capacity planning)

Risk and Issue management

Experience with agile, or businesses undergoing agile transformation a plus

Languages & Travel

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

This role will partner with NORAM/ EMEA/ APAC partners and should expect to travel internationally 10-15%

Proven experience with data reporting and analytics

Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and vendors

Ability to translate a technical document into simple, business values
