About the Position
Job Opportunity – Telemetry RN – Texas Start Date: October 16, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 hours per week

• 13-week assignment in a progressive care telemetry unit within a respected medical center
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with dedicated unit secretaries and patient care technicians
• 47-bed split unit specializing in intermediate care and telemetry monitoring
• Meditech EMR system with typical progressive care equipment and procedures
• Opportunities to work with tracheostomies, telemetry monitoring, and various IV drips
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with no call requirements

Requirements:
Active Texas RN license (must be permanent license; temporary licenses not accepted)
Minimum 2+ years of hospital telemetry or progressive care experience required
Previous critical care experience required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Meditech EMR experience preferred
Experience with telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, and various IV drips preferred
Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
