Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs to create personalized therapy plans aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations
Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and unified care
Teach patients and families about therapy methods to ensure continued progress at home
Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary, keeping patients on track toward their goals
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
Ongoing educational pursuits or post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
A strong commitment to helping others achieve their maximum level of independence
