1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shift Mig Welder
Key Responsibilities
Perform Mig welding according to engineering drawings and blueprint specifications.
Interpret welding symbols, callouts, and weld requirements.
Determine proper weld positions and techniques to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.
Weld mild steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 7-gauge to 1/4-inch thickness.
Read and interpret detailed fabrication and welding blueprints.
Assist with cutting, staging, organizing, and preparing materials for production.
Support fabrication activities including grinding, machine operation, insulation cutting, and finishing work.
Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Assist in other fabrication departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Mig welding experience.
Strong blueprint reading abilities.
Working knowledge of shop math.
Experience in fabrication environments.
Ability to perform quality welds on mild steel and stainless steel.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Work Environment
Modern manufacturing and fabrication facility.
Primarily welding-focused with additional fabrication responsibilities.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
