People Manager (People & Culture)
Help build a strong team and a workplace people want to be part of

We’re looking for a People Manager who can work across engineering, operations, and the shop floor to support our team, strengthen our culture, and help our leaders lead better.

This is a hands‑on role. You’ll spend time with employees, supervisors, engineers, and leadership to improve communication, solve problems, and make sure people are set up to succeed.

This position concentrates on recruiting, talent acquisition and internal employee growth. It does not include payroll and benefit administration.

What You’ll Do
People & Culture

Be a visible, approachable resource for employees across the company

Support supervisors, engineers, and managers with people issues, feedback, and team development

Help improve accountability, communication, and day‑to‑day team performance

Address employee concerns and resolve issues in a fair and practical way

Support employee retention and engagement efforts

Recruiting

Work with managers to understand hiring needs across engineering, operations, and production

Lead recruiting for key roles

Help improve hiring processes and candidate experience

Team Leadership

Help prioritize hiring needs and keep recruiting efforts moving

Ensure new hires are onboarded properly and set up for success

HR Support

Maintain practical HR processes and documentation

Ensure compliance with policies and employment practices

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in HR, people operations, or a leadership role

Comfortable working directly with engineering teams, operations, and shop‑floor employees

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Practical, no‑nonsense approach to handling people issues

Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment is strongly preferred
