This is a remote role with minimal travel, providing financial oversight, guidance and management to 70 healthcare dining accounts with 40 contracts. Primary responsibilities of the Regional Finance Manager will include oversight of all accounting and financial activity within the region including monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Additionally, the Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for monitoring internal control and providing training and development for region leaders and operations teams.
Manages the preparation of monthly analysis of revenue, cost of goods sold, labor and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate any costs or risks at the unit.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
Identify issues with billing, collections and financial processing within the unit and propose mediation.
Validate dashboard data and ensure accuracy of data in comparison to general ledger.
Support month end closing process and perform variance analysis of key drivers of results including unallocated food costs and payroll metrics.
Ensure training and development related to financials of all region leaders and operations team members.
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
MBA or CPA beneficial but not required.
Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
Experience with SAP, Essbase and dashboard development preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
