Job Description
Job Description New Hope Church of Norfolk is seeking a Church Musician to serve and assist the lead music director for the worship music ministry for New Hope services including in house and out.
Job Requirements:
Assist Choir director with coordinating the music ministries
Work with the Pastor and staff in general planning and conveying information about the music program
If not available for rehearsal or performance, must arrange for a replacement
Provide music for weekly services and occasional festival services
Must be available and attend all rehearsals as scheduled by choir director in house and out
Sight reading is a plus
Able to play Hammond Organ, keyboard and piano
Play by ear preferred
Music theory training required
Experience:
Music: 2-5 years (Preferred)
Shifts:
Sunday 10 am Service (Required)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $300.00 to $500.00 /week
$20 - $80 per hour
